The Hug + Hammock that Healing Bodies Crave
Why We Love It
The ultimate in core + pelvic floor support during pregnancy and postpartum.
Pregnancy can be painful. Postpartum Recovery can be humbling and complex. Our Support Bloomers provide the therapeutic difference.
Meet the Physio-designed Support Bloomers built to take the pressure & strain off of your body. They offer unique core + pelvic floor support to alleviate prenatal & postpartum discomfort and support your recovery.
How It Works
Our Core + Pelvic Floor SUPPORT BLOOMERS offer a truly unique support system that minimizes stress & strain horizontally over the abdomen. This support is key to reducing abdominal separation/ab splitting. Additionally, these bloomers offer pelvic floor support with a hammock made from our custom proprietary fabric. This "bottoms up" approach begins with a supporting 'lift' to the pelvic floor.
Tight corsets and binders are ineffective and can actually create pressure on your pelvic floor. Our improved and healthy approach uses flexible compression and research based physiology to support your body.
Wide enough to wear a pad, these bloomers are the ideal undergarment for your fourth trimester. There are no seams to aggravate c-section incisions and the fabric has the perfect touch of softness. Our bloomers are a must-have in your hospital bag.

LoveSteady was created by a Women's Health Physical Therapist and Pilates Instructor. Our products are inspired by your active pregnancy and motherhood journey! Proudly made in the USA. 100% designed & manufactured in California.
At LoveSteady your goal is to be more than just a place you shop. Our desire is to be a trusted ally, a supportive friend, an encouraging advocate, and a helpful source of information.
Where We Come From
LoveSteady was created in 2007 when our founder, a then practicing physical therapist named Suzanne, noticed that her patients didn’t have the tools they needed to comfortably get through pregnancy. She began designing products that would support those who were looking to remain active and supported throughout their pregnancies and prevent them from turning to restrictive, ill-fitting girdles and binders that would squeeze their midsections and actually impede postpartum recovery. She started sharing her sample pieces with local Northern California mothers and officially launched as Bao Bei at the Los Angeles Trade Show in September 2007. The Belly Sports Bra was officially born.
Fast forward to today, LoveSteady is still comprised of a small team of moms dedicated to providing support for people in all phases of their parenthood journey. We believe postpartum is forever and are constantly working to extend our reach so that everyone can feel supported, nurtured, and cared for through pregnancy and beyond.
Intentional Design
Each product from our collection is intentionally created from start to finish. We begin with a design and test it again and again before it is ever publicly released. Each piece we make is more than just part of an outfit. We aim to create lasting support wear that will stand the test of time, and, most importantly, support a healthy pregnancy and postpartum. From our sizing to our fabric selection, nothing is chosen without thought and concern for those who are trusting us with their bodies.
As a promise to you, we are constantly striving to be more inclusive while maintaining our commitment to slow fashion and ethical production. Our goal is to continually expand our reach so that you feel supported, regardless of your size, race, gender identity, or sexual orientation,
Commitment to Sustainability
From the start, upholding ethical production has been a core tenet of LoveSteady. We use small batch production, ensuring both the quality of our product and the proper treatment of all those involved in manufacturing. From our fabric selection, to our sewing team, to our shipping team we work with small businesses to support our local economy and reduce our impact on the planet.
We are consistently upgrading our packaging to be more environmentally conscious and look for creative ways to use our fabric scraps so we can reduce waste. We are dedicated to supporting every caregiver, including Mother Earth.
Community Focus
LoveSteady will always strive to place our community first. We are who we are because of you. You really do matter to us. As a small business, we promise never to forget our roots and never to stop celebrating each and every purchase you make. You are the reason we are here, and we will continue honoring our commitment to you, to our community, and to our Earth. Please feel free to reach out to us at any time (hello@teambaobei.com) We look forward to the opportunity to support you and thank you for placing your trust in us.
WE (are) LOVESTEADY
The support across stomach is ok, not real impressive but around the legs it just kept riding up on me and was very annoying. I don't think I can wear them again and regret wasting so much money. I thought they would help my varicose veins at the top of my leg but they don't.
Was originally planning on saving these for post partum, but since I got them I’ve been wearing them for general support for the past couple days. They feel great and very supportive. I already ordered a second pair.
If I could give more stars I would. I first purchased the pelvic support shorts, and they didn't live up to the hopes I had. I am in my third trimester with my third baby and I suffer from pretty severe SPD and prolapse after my second baby. I also have an umbilical hernia this time around and it gets pretty tender, so having something high rise, and supportive was really necessary. These bloomers are IT for me. I've actually worn them over my low rise maternity underwear some days as an extra support, rather than wearing them as underwear. They lay so flat and perfectly too they don't show through clothes.
They are so comfortable, and fit so well over my pregnant belly. I'm wondering if the pelvic support shorts didn't work well for me due to how far forward my bump is-- I carry like "boy pregnancies" despite having all girls ;) The bump shape is not an issue at all for the bloomers. I am very excited to have these postpartum as well.
While we're all different shapes and sizes, I'll share that I am currently 150 pounds at 32 weeks pregnant, and I'm 5 foot 2 inches... I have a slender body shape. I got a size small in the bloomers and they fit beautifully. Completely comfortable.
I also want to give a shout out to customer service. When I had an issue with the pelvic support shorts not working for me, they helped me right away to find what would possibly work better, and they nailed it. Many thanks!
I got 2 pairs of the compression bloomers and 2 pairs of shorts - I am kind of in-between sizes so that’s probably my only complaint. I am 5’3” and 133lbs pre-pregnancy, about 153lbs PP with a 32”-ish waist and the S bloomers could be a little tighter; also in between S-M in the shorts. I got them all final sale and overall they’re comfortable and supportive.
After just two weeks of wear, I find the compression to have decreased significantly even with right sizing and following the wash/dry instructions. Wrote to customer service, hopefully I got a bad batch.. because otherwise they fit well and are comfortable.
