Our athletic mid-length biker shorts have a CORE postnatal recovery panel built-in.

The amount of support built into these compression shorts is just right. It acts like a posture cue, an abdominal splint, and a pelvic supporter. It's truly multi-dimensional & comfortable support wear! The recovery panel is perfect for supporting the abdominals after baby and helps re-align the midsection. The 4-way stretch tech fabric gives the abdominals increased proprioceptive feedback and helps to support your core.

Our BOTTOMS UP support style was created to prevent increased pressure on the pelvic floor. It has the ideal amount of support starting at the pelvis and lifting upward - As opposed to rigid belts in the past which squished, squeezed and cinched creating a downward push. Say goodbye to rigid Velcro!

*Size up if you are wearing early postpartum. You want a comfortable, therapeutic hug but not too tight fit. Order the size you will be approximately when you are wearing them, not your pre-pregnancy size.

**The XS is a specialty size for petite women and not worn by many women in the early postpartum weeks. It is reserved for those in the later stages of postpartum who have dropped their weight and are back to size 0/2/4 but still need therapeutic core support.

Where We Come From

LoveSteady was created in 2007 when our founder, a then practicing physical therapist named Suzanne, noticed that her patients didn’t have the tools they needed to comfortably get through pregnancy. She began designing products that would support those who were looking to remain active and supported throughout their pregnancies and prevent them from turning to restrictive, ill-fitting girdles and binders that would squeeze their midsections and actually impede postpartum recovery. She started sharing her sample pieces with local Northern California mothers and officially launched as Bao Bei at the Los Angeles Trade Show in September 2007. The Belly Sports Bra was officially born.

Fast forward to today, LoveSteady is still comprised of a small team of moms dedicated to providing support for people in all phases of their parenthood journey. We believe postpartum is forever and are constantly working to extend our reach so that everyone can feel supported, nurtured, and cared for through pregnancy and beyond.
