Not the same leggings as before

I got 2 pairs of postpartum recovery leggings and 2 pairs of pelvic support shorts from Bao Bei Body in 2022 after I had my first baby, and LOVED every single item. I wore the leggings every single day for so long that they didn’t make it to my second postpartum experience this year, but I immediately ordered more. I had had a disappointing experience with LoveSteady’s belly band and maternity leggings during pregnancy, but was positive that I would love the postpartum leggings, as they had been so supportive before.
I am very disappointed to report that these leggings are not the same at all. They’ve changed something fundamental about the leggings—they are thinner, not supportive at all, and the waist band rolls down whenever I stand up. The (very high!!) price remind unchanged while the quality has drastically decreased. I have $30 Amazon leggings that are more supportive.
The most frustrating part is that I tried on my maternity leggings from LoveSteady and… they feel exactly the same as the postpartum ones. Surely the postpartum ones should be more compressive and supportive of the core and pelvic floor?! Are they the same leggings being marketed under 2 different names so new moms buy both?
Needless to say, I’m extremely disappointed. I loved this brand before when it was Bao Bei, and they say it’s the same brand with a new name, but it feels like a totally different (and inferior) brand. I’ve recommended them to so many pregnant and postpartum friends over the years and now I have no idea which version of leggings they got. I would love for someone from the customer service team to reach out to me to explain what has happened to a product I loved and really needed.

Expensive, but very helpful

These leggings give great abdominal support after a c-section and are much more comfortable than a belly binder.

Living in these leggings

I’m two weeks postpartum after my second c-section, and I’ve been wearing these every single day. Love the support and definitely recommend! The only thing that would make them better is pockets :)

Bothersome seam

The leggings are very supportive and do make a difference for my pelvic floor. Unfortunately for me the seam across the butt lands in a spot that is a sensory irk. It makes them feel as if they are sliding down, when they are not. This might only be an issue for people with pear shaped bodies. I am confident I have the correct size as they fit everywhere it’s simply one seam placement that bothers me . I have many love steady products and love all of them but these are a meh for me.
